Lab Reports
I am yet again working long into the night on another lab report. I can't tell you how excited I am to be one lab report away from being done with this class. I have a bone to pick with whoever started the stupidest trend of making these 6-8 hours of labs a week only being 2-3 credits. Quite often you have to stay the entire length of time, not to mention the tedious and long lab reports you have to write thereafter. Not to mention they usually end up picking the most boring stuff to have you experiment with. What happened to explosions (mini ones of course) or colorful flames. Maybe even a good old fashioned precipitate that is really colorful. Instead we just sit and watch stuff boil, measure the boiling point, and then work with all sorts of complicated equations to derive some relationship that really doesn't tell me a whole lot except that the simple equations we use in our textbook are right most of the time. I apologize for this rant, but somebody had to say it.
Anyways, I also watched the basketball games on tv today. I was glad the Heat won, but was really disappointed that the Clippers lost in double overtime. Oh well, I will be rooting for them in game 6. I wish I was watching a movie right now instead of doing this lab report, but I think I might get my fair share of movie watching in this weekend. I am so excited for the Da Vinci Code, but anyone who knows me knows that :) Well I guess I better get back to that lab report... Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather we have been having lately!!!!
