What a Wii-kend
If you couldn't tell by the title of this post, this weekend I got up at 6:30 AM after going to bed at 2 AM, to wait in line for 2 hours in the cold outside of Toys R' Us to finally purchase a Wii. I have to admit that I was skeptical about the system when I initially read about it, but I can say it lives up to all the hype it has been getting. I got Zelda, Madden, and Wii Sports (which was included) and each game really is unique in its control style. Zelda is infinitely cooler when you can swing a sword to kill an enemy as opposed to mashing the A button. I also like being about to aim with the pointer. Madden is cool, because the way you use the controller is just like what you would do if you were to actually play football. I have to say they did a fine job of making a new Madden game, without just a simple graphics upgrade. And Wii Sports has to be one of the most addicting games I have ever played. I can just play it for hours, which becomes that much more noticable when my arm hurts in the morning :) I look forward to getting some more games (hopefully for Christmas), and I have to say the long wait in line was definitely worth it. I will be sure to post more impressions of the games as I delve into them more, and also comment on some of Nintendo's features such as my Mii (apparantly mine looks way too much like myself).

I love the Wii. I love it so much.
I love the Wii too. I hated the tennis game on Wii Sports at first, but now Alex and I can't go a day without playing it. We usually play on the same team to prevent a fight.
