    A feeling of nostalgia...

I have recently discovered the channel called GAS. I know, you might think that is kind of gross, but it is actually a channel that shows all the old Nickelodeon game shows that I loved so much as a kid. Finders Keepers, Nick Arcade, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Guts, Double Dare, and more. It almost makes me not want to go to bed anymore. On top of that, I watch BBC America in the mornings. I watch all the old British shows that I find much more amusing than most of today's shows. Maybe my feeling of nostalgia for Nickelodeon and old comedies is due to the lack of good television as of late. The shows that I had started to like lately have really let me down. Smallville was a show that I really liked, but this past season it was all about Clark and LANA. Stupid Lana, who the heck cares about Lana, we all know it will be Clark Kent, Superman, and Lois Lane. LANA LANA LANA!!!! I don't care about LANA! And then they go off and kill one of my favorite characters in the series (and where is my boy Pete?!?!). What happened to the days of television where we had such great shows as the Cosby Show, Fresh Prince, Family Matters, Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts, Seinfeld, Frasier, DuckTales and Chip'n Dale Rescue Rangers. Is it possible that television and me have gone our separate ways and lost touch with one another? I just can't stand reality tv, and I miss the old sitcoms. The only tv shows I watch now that are current are the Colbert Report, Conan O'Brien, and the occasional Family Guy. All I have to say is that if television and me are going to get along again, it needs to start making some better shows again. American Idol was fun for Season 2, but after that I lost all interest. And the original CSI is fun, but I am not a fan of the spin offs that are going on like CSI NY, and CSI Miami. There is that Heroes show coming out this fall that I have high hopes for, but I can't help but feel it will just be another let down. I guess for now I will just have to stick with my Seinfeld reruns on UPN, Nickelodeon shows on GAS, and Nick at Nite (I can't believe these shows are already on there!).

You're lumping Seinfeld and The Cosby Show in the same category as Duck Tales???? On second thought, that just might work...
